Meet our Team

Amy Hubert, MD

Dr. Amy has been practicing Emergency Medicine for over 20 years and has been involved in aesthetic medicine for more than a decade as a prior owner of a medical spa in Florida. She served in the US Navy for 22 years as both a Surface Warfare Officer and as a Physician. She is married and has three teenage sons. She and her family moved to Canton from Virginia 10 years ago and she may or may not be finally developing a native southern accent.

JULIE THORNE, DNP, FNP-BC

Dr. Julie Thorne is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner that brings with her over 18 years of nursing experience. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her BSN, Master’s in Nursing Education, and Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She also received her Legal Nurse Consultant from the University of Georgia and most recently her Doctorate degree at Frontier Nursing University. Over the course of her career, she has worked in family practice, regenerative medicine, compliance consulting, and aesthetics in addition to serving as a national trainer teaching injections to other providers. When she is not at work, she enjoys camping, hiking, and lake activities with her husband, 2 children, and 3 dogs. Her career vision is to promote quality holistic care using traditional and alternative, evidence-based approaches and techniques.

Brian Palm, PA-C

Brian Palm, PA-C, is a physician assistant formally trained in the art of aesthetics. He started his training in Beverly Hills, CA, where he focused on accentuating each patient’s unique anatomy. Brian has been practicing medicine for nearly 10 years, and his time working with traumatic facial injuries in the emergency department gave him a passion for cosmetic reconstruction. Brian has worked with Dr. Amy for over 4 years and brings a wealth of experience to The Beauty Barn.

When not caring for patients, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters, traveling, and helping prospective physician assistant students get accepted to graduate school through mentoring. His daughters love having family dance parties and all things involving rainbows and unicorns. Brian tries to keep up with them and is working on a way to bottle the energy they have to eventually distribute to the general public.

Camlyn "Cam" Lowe, FNP-BC

Cam graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in 2010. She has extensive experience working in the surgery departments at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. In 2019, Cam went back to school to complete the Nurse Practitioner program at Georgia Baptist. Since then, Cam has been a primary medical provider in an urgent care clinic in Jasper, Georgia. Plus, she still works in the surgery department at PMH.

Cam has always had an interest in aesthetics and has undergone Master Level Training from the country’s best injectors. Her keen eye for natural-looking results makes her a perfect fit at The Beauty Barn. Cam’s personable nature and ability to work with her clients to achieve results they feel good about makes her one of our favorite providers.

In her spare time, Cam makes an effort to go to the gym and spend time outdoors fishing and gardening. Her passions are spending time with her friends and family, and she occasionally sneaks in some reading (mostly mystery) to help her decompress.

Amy Murphy

Amy is our office manager and in charge of day to day operations at The Beauty Barn. She is responsible for patient coordination, scheduling, and managing all front office logistics. She takes great pride in ensuring each and every patient is seen promptly and with an appointment that best fits their busy schedule!

Before taking several years off to raise her children, Amy was the Accounting Manager at Cabot Corporation for 10 years. Her background in Accounting and Finance make her a great fit for our team. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her kids participate in their activities, traveling, and spending time as a family at the lake.

Ellie Lusk

Ellie is our Patient Concierge and is responsible for welcoming each Barn Beauty to our neighborhood spa. She takes a personal interest in making sure each patient feels welcome and is scheduled for treatments in a timely manner.

Ellie attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. She has spent more than 5 years in customer service where she has enjoyed meeting people and helping customers feel more confident!

Ellie recently got married and moved to Ball Ground, Georgia. She enjoys spending time with her new family and going on long walks with her dog Ozzy.
