CoolSculpting®

The treatment is performed using the CoolSculpting® Machine and specific handpieces designed for different body parts. The cold temperature causes the fat cells to freeze. Over time, the body naturally processes and removes the dead fat cells, reducing fat in the treated area.

The procedure takes about an hour to complete. During the treatment, many individuals find time to do other things, like work on their laptop, watch YouTube or their favorite social media platform, or even catch a quick nap. Most people return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment.

This is because once a fat cell is destroyed through cryolipolysis, your body begins the process of removing that fat cell through your endocrine system. This is a natural process, and everyone will process the fat in a timeline according to their own unique biology.

It is important to note that the CoolSculpting® procedure is not a weight loss treatment, and it is not a substitute for diet and exercise. It is best suited for individuals who are near or at their ideal weight but have areas of fat that they would like to eliminate. CoolSculpting® is not recommended for people who are obese or significantly overweight.

There are some risks associated with CoolSculpting®, although they are generally uncommon and minor. These can include skin irritation, numbness, and tingling at the treatment site. Some people may also experience a feeling of tightness or hardness in the treated area; however, these symptoms usually subside within a few days.
